ISEA International Board of Directors in concert with Headquarters Director (HQ) coordinate and oversee the continuation of the International Symposium on Electronic Art (ISEA). The first ISEA symposium took place in 1988 and, since then, it has been held either annually or bi-annually. ISEA is a nomadic event, with each iteration organized in a different city or region of the world. ISEA International is an Academic Symposia that includes keynotes, papers, panels & roundtables, workshops, institutional presentations, and art events such as art exhibitions, concerts, performances, screenings, and other public events. The symposia are documented in digital and/or hard copy publications. Academic presentations are documented in Symposia Proceedings publications that adhere to academic standards, and Artistic presentations are documented in ISEA Catalogues.
