International Advisory Committee

The  IIAC (ISEA International Advisory Committee) is comprised of international experts from the fields of art, science and technology. Their role is to advise the ISEA International Board and ISEA Headquarter’s Executive Director.


Janet Bellotto (Chair)

Janet Bellotto

Dean, College of Arts and Creative Enterprises, Zayed University, Dubai/Abu Dhabi, U.A.E

Janet Bellotto is a Full Professor, who taught in Visual Arts, Department of Art and Digital Media, while holding various administrative roles. A multidisciplinary Italian-Canadian artist and writer from Toronto, she explores narratives connected to water, islands and their delicate ecologies. Her work has been exhibited internationally in solo and group exhibitions, as well as at major art fairs.

Jiayi Young

Associate Professor, Department of Design

University of California, Davis, USA

Jiayi Young creates interfaces, large-scale installations, and public art that are data-driven or informed by data findings. Her inquiries are critical and humanistic in nature, often relating to rapid technological advancements and their impact on the present-day human experience. Her work has been exhibited and published internationally.

Lisa Moren

Lisa Moren works with emerging media, works on paper, interactive installations, AR/XR, and live bio-matter. Her works have been exhibited at museums and galleries internationally, she is Fulbright Scholar and National Endowment for the Arts recipient.

Rewa Wright

Dr Rewa Wright is a media arts and computational design researcher with a collaborative and transdisciplinary practice encompassing exhibition, performance, publication, presentation, and community engagement.

Anne Nigten

Director, CASE, Centre for Arts & Sciences Education

Amsterdam University of the Arts, Netherlands

Since 2022, Anne Nigten is the director of CASE at the Amsterdam University of the Arts in the Netherlands. Until early 2023 Anne was the director of The Patchingzone a media laboratory for creative innovation that she initiated in 2007. Anne was managing director of V2_Lab, the aRt&D department of V2_ in Rotterdam. She was board member of ISEA international and regularly publishes on collaboration and innovative cross-pollination between art, technology and (computer) science.
